My Photography

Here is Bonzo, our golden Labrador, enjoying a well-earned rest after a long run on the beach at Waterloo near Crosby. Liverpool Merseyside.

We were visiting the green hills of North Wales and stopped to rest among the ferns. When I looked up, I spotted this sheep spying on us.

On one of our family outings at Valle Crucis Abbey in Llangollen, Wales, UK, my son dipped his hand into the Abby pond and pulled out a frog/toad. This made a perfect photo shoot opportunity.

This tree had been on Leddy Park Beach for a long time, but sadly died. I was fortunate to capture this image during the winter, and you can see the freezing mist on the water. I planned to take a picture of this tree in each of the seasons, but it was cut down the following summer.

Morning Dew on the morning of a historical event to be held at Ethan Allen Homestead, Burlington, VT. USA

The Husband and I went to Niagara Falls for our honeymoon, naturally, we took along my mum and dad, who flew from the UK to visit us. We went to catch the magnificent light display on the falls. This picture was taken with the Canon EOS.

On one of my winter walkabouts at the Leddy Park Beach in Burlington, Vermont, I came across this swept-up tree trunk anchored in place by the ice.

A beautiful, calm evening on the Spirit of Ethan Allen sunset tour on Lake Champlain. We passed this miniature lighthouse on the breakwater; it took many snaps to catch the red glow. It was worth the wait.

A piece of modern sculpture, one of a hundred pieces created in the image of the artist Antony Gormley’s naked body, facing the Irish Sea on Crosby Beach, Merseyside, England. I took this photo with my cell phone as the sun was setting.

There’s a story behind this dragonfly, and it goes like this. Hubby and I were gardening when this little dragonfly landed beside me. I asked it kindly to remain where it was so I could run into the house and get my camera. Sure enough, when I came back, it was still there. It stayed where it was until I finished taking several shots. Coincidence? I’ll let you decide.

This story will not be as fascinating as the dragonfly, but it is just as spectacular. This picture was taken with my Canon EOS at the North Wales Butterfly Conservation, UK.

This picture was taken on New Brighton Beach, Wallasey, Merseyside, England, on a very windy evening. The tide was coming in, and the sun was setting. I positioned myself very close to the incoming tide to capture the sun behind the lighthouse.

This was taken with my Samsung S25. I noticed them hidden behind a large rock on the old tree stump in my backyard

This image was taken at the overlook on the bike path in Burlington roughly 13 years ago. It was taken with the Canon EOS 350D

While visiting a friend up in Island Pond, I sat on the steps leading down to her beach with a small glass of Campari. I set it on the railing and took a snap of the sunset. This was taken with the Samsung phone.

Late September of 2025, I decided to take my weeping angel for a photoshoot day out. I sat her on the railing overlooking Star Farm beach in Burlington. She was overjoyed to dip her feet into the cool water of Lake Champlain.

We found a hollowed-out tree. I placed the weeping angle at the opening, and she became slightly agitated; there could have been anything lurking in the dark abyss. I took this photo and edited it with my Samsung 25.

By the end of the day, the weeping angel became a little tired and somewhat uncooperative. She was exhausted with all the excitement. She was clearly upset with the driftwood. At this point, I took her home.
